General Meeting

Canadian Medical Association AGM

  • -
The AGM is a forum for members to hear from and ask questions of CMA leadership, provide input on CMA governance and address other corporate matters; it’s followed by the Nominations Committee report, where delegates can vote to approve nominees for CMA leadership positions.

During the Nominations Committee report from 3:30 to 4 pm AT, delegates can vote on the president-elect and other nominations (non-delegates will have the option to stay on as observers for this portion). CMA membership is a prerequisite for voting at the AGM.

The virtual format will include live webcasting of all proceedings, secure online voting for those with voting rights, moderated question and answer opportunities and simultaneous interpretation.
