Fee Committee

The Fee Committee has decision-making authority to approve adjustments to the MSI Physician's Manual. When the committee cannot reach consensus or if it has insufficient budget, the matter will be referred to the Physician Agreement Management Group (PAMG).

Decisions and recommendations

The Fee Committee will make decisions and recommendations on all matters pertaining to the MSI Physician's Manual, including:

  • the introduction of new fees
  • revisions or deletions of existing fee codes
  • additions, revisions, or clarifications of the Preamble to the MSI Physician’s Manual

Committee representation

The committee has five representatives from both Doctors Nova Scotia and the Department of Health and Wellness. Nova Scotia Health and the IWK are also represented on the committee.
