Payment options
There are four ways to pay premiums for the Doctors Nova Scotia Extended Health and Dental Plan.
- Cheque or money order. Make your cheque or money order for the full amount payable to Doctors Nova Scotia.
- Credit card. Doctors Nova Scotia accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express for full and monthly payments.
- Direct debit. Payment can be automatically withdrawn from a bank account on a monthly or annual basis. To arrange to have your payments withdrawn automatically, complete a pre-authorized payment plan authorization form.
- Online banking. Accepted by BMO, CIBC, RBC, TD, ScotiaBank and Desjardins. The authorization number requested by the bank is the same as your Doctors Nova Scotia membership number.

To arrange monthly payments, complete a pre-authorized payment plan authorization form.
