Hosted by Dr. Eileen Denovan-Wright, Associate Dean of Research, the event will feature leading Dalhousie researchers advancing discoveries that improve care for patients with rare and complex diseases.

Speakers will include:

  • Dr. Chris McMaster – Identifying and repairing genes to improve outcomes for those born with rare genetic diseases
  • Dr. Mike West – Improving care in the community by using genetics to identify effective treatments
  • Dr. Luke Chen – Fast-tracking new treatments for rare diseases through drug repurposing
  • Additional speakers to be announced

This program will highlight cutting-edge research that is translating genetic discoveries into real-world health solutions.
