Registration is now open for the 2026 2SLGBTQIA+ Affirming Care Conference
Virtual | April 28–30, 2026
Hosted by prideHealth, this annual conference brings together physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, learners, leaders, and invited community partners for focused learning on 2SLGBTQIA+ healthcare. The event supports continued education across the health system and reflects a shared commitment to advancing Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, Reconciliation, and Accessibility in clinical practice.
This year’s program includes sessions such as 2SLGBTQIA+ Newcomer Sexual Health, Intersex Person-Centred Care Learning for HCPs, Trans 101: Navigating Trans Healthcare in Nova Scotia, Healthcare access experiences and needs among LBQ women, trans, and nonbinary people in Canada, and many more directed to healthcare providers.
Day 2 sessions will run from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. to better accommodate clinical schedules, allowing physicians to participating in practical, case-informed learning.
