The payment calendar will help physicians stay on top of what payments are coming, when and what (if anything) they need to do to sign up. 

Upcoming deadline(s) to note:

  • March 31, 2026: Each eligible family physician must sign and submit the declaration of eligibility to activate the new Comprehensive Family Practice (CFP) fee code beginning April 1, 2026
  • March 31, 2026: Contribution deadline to a chosen retirement vehicle (for physicians with 5+ years of service)
  • March 31, 2026: Opt-in deadline for the 2024–25 Physician Retirement Fund

Frequently asked questions

Q: I didn’t receive notice of the payments that require physician action. What do I do?

A: Check your inbox or junk folder for messages from Doctors Nova Scotia’s (DNS) incentives@doctorsns.com email. Use keywords, such as the name of the program or incentive.

Q: I checked my inbox and junk folder and don’t see the messages. What next?

A: Contact DNS by emailing info@doctorsns.com. Staff will be able to determine if you have inadvertently unsubscribed from updates or did not receive the member messages.

Q: I don’t see a payment for this incentive. What next?
