Webinar on Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID)

Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) has been a legal option in Canada since legislation was first passed in 2016. Since then, however, there have been legislative changes to what the law looks like and who is eligible.  

We'll be sitting down with nurse practitioner, Valerie Cooper and Dr. Boris Henriquez to discuss several topics essential to understanding MAID. This shall include a short review of legislation and eligibility criteria, what a MAID assessment and provision can look like, dispelling myths and misconceptions, as well as listening to the first-hand accounts of MAID clinicians about what it is like to be a provider.
