Dalhousie Medicine’s first conference on catalysing system change will bring together scholars, practitioners, learners, decision makers and the public. Participants will discuss how to generate, teach, and implement meaningful interventions in a complex health system.
Dalhousie Medicine’s first conference on catalysing system change will bring together scholars, practitioners, learners, decision makers and the public. Participants will discuss how to generate, teach, and implement meaningful interventions in a complex health system.
At the end of this conference, participants will be able to:
- Will be able to describe some of the worldviews and institutions that shape the Canadian health system as we know it today
- Discuss intersectoral collaboration across health systems
- Discuss implementation issues in enhancing health systems with respect to service delivery, financing, human resources, and governance
- Share experiences to promote cross-learning of good practices in health systems strengthening
