Thrive Youth Clinic is looking for a family physician interested in taking over the holistic, youth-focused healthcare at Phoenix. Types of practice includes general primary care, harm reduction, gender-affirming care (direct provision or referral), sexual health, prescriptions, referrals, etc. This is a Sessional practice. Compassionate, relationship-centered, culturally responsive physician is critical at Thrive. An IWK Community Mental Health and Addictions Nurse, and Phoenix’s team of therapists and mental health practitioners also support the health of Phoenix youth.

Practice size: Approximately 180 youth patients (ages 16-25)
Hours: 10 Sessional hours/week ($177/hr) at Phoenix Centre for Youth, with some drop-in time spent at Phoenix Youth Shelter.

Location:  Halifax, NS
Dates:  August 24th 2026 – March 31st 2027, possibility for extension dependent on funding.
