Let's Talk Informatics: Nova Scotia Health Teams Support COVID-19 Vaccine Rollout

Daryl MacNeil from Project Services & Performance Improvement and Eder Pulido from Quality & System Performance will share how their teams leveraged project management, industrial engineering and other tools and approaches to support Public Health in designing and managing the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Nova Scotia.

Daryl MacNeil is the Manager, Project Services & Performance Improvement (PSPI) at Nova Scotia Health. He has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and an MBA. Prior to his last 13 years in the health care industry, Daryl spent 12 years in product-based, for-profit organizations. PSPI is an internal consultancy for Nova Scotia Health and consists of project managers and industrial engineers with a broad mandate to support the organization improve the delivery of health care to Nova Scotians.

Eder Pulido has been a Senior Decision Support Analyst with Nova Scotia Health Quality & System Performance for the past three years. He possesses a Bachelor of Economics degree from the Technological University of Mexico. He has over 16 years of experience developing key performance indicators, analyzing policies and processes, implementing solutions and synthesizing information for decision-makers and stakeholders. Eder has specific employment experience as a business analyst, marketing analyst and statistical analyst in the private sector and federal and local governments.
