Our small, community hospital in Neils Harbour, along the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, is urgently seeking full or part-time physicians to join our practice. Although traditionally our physicians do a mixture of clinic, ER (including after hours home-call), and hospitalist medicine, we are open to exploring alternative arrangements. We also accept short or long-term locums. Housing is provided for locums or new recruits, including a fully furnished 3-bedroom home near the hospital, as well as support to find employment for spouses. We are surrounded by stunning natural beauty – mountains, oceans, beaches – located around 2.5 hours from Sydney. Our population is spread out over several communities from Ingonish to Meat Cove, and grounded in fishing and tourism,

For someone more financially motivated, there is the opportunity to take on additional call shifts.
